The Propex HeatSource HS2000 is a highly efficient, compact, interior heating system that is specifically engineered for touring vehicles and motor homes. Please be aware these heaters are rated for use with 30mb butane and 30/37mb propane. This is widely acceptable across Europe though some European countries also use 50mb gas pressure. Please Note: Installation and servicing of this gas powered unit, must comply with current gas safety register-(GB), Corgi (Ni) regulations or the relevant national organisation.

This system offers a high efficiency rating with the luxury of thermostatic control via an easily fitted, wall mounted thermostat. Unlike some heaters, it requires minimal electricity during ignition – so cycling the HeatSource on does not lead to additional battery drain.

Ball race bearings used in the heater fans allow quiet operation while a stainless steel burner and heat-exchanger coupled with clean combustion give maintenance-free durability.

Surprisingly compact, in Vans and Buses the unit is usually mounted in a bed-box or cupboard and flued downwards through the floor and out to the side of the vehicle using the flexible stainless ducting provided. It is supplied with a complete fitting kit to suit vehicle installation.
