Quality Westfalia product. Two bolt flange towbar. Fits T5s from 2003 to 2015 and all T6s, including the 4Motion. This is a versatile towbar which can also be used with towball mounted accessories such as bumper protectors and cycle carriers. Use in conjunction with electric kits J40169 or J40170. We also stock the filler foam J40233 for bridging the gap between the bar and bumper cover

The flange towbar is non-removable and the towball is mounted to it with two bolts. You must remove all paint and grease from the towbar before use if you are using any stabilisers with built in friction pads.
If you want to tow and attach a cycle carrier at the same time, you must add together the weight of the bikes and the nose weight of the trailer, the two added together should not exceed the maximum nose weight stated by the vehicle manufacturer.
The flange towbar can also be used with an ALKO or BPW stabiliser without the need for modification but an additional towball will have to be purchased that is ALKO compatible.
